The last couple of trips to Dhahran/Bahrain have been driven through dust storms. This is not fog that you see - it is dust!

This is what the cars look like during these dust storms.
They are usually very clean and polished.

Yuck! I think my allergies would be kicked into high gear there. How do people breathe through those storms? Also, I'm thankful for the beautiful landscape here in CA. Glad to see an update on your post ;)
